CF 3299Personal effects
Declaration for free entry of unaccompanied articles, typically for a person emigrating or moving back to the USA.
T&E / I.E.Transportation and export
Goods shipped under U.S. Customs bond from a U.S. port of entry to a second U.S. Customs port, for export to a third country.
VST&EVessel transportation and export
A specialized U.S. Customs bond intended for a foreign vessel that will be leaving the USA immediately.
BondedWarehouse entry
For goods entering the USA under bond, stored temporarily in a warehouse without paying duties and/or taxes.
Under $2,500Informal entry
For shipments valued under $2,500 USD. Some commodities can’t use an informal entry, regardless of value.
Over $2,500Consumption entry
For shipments entering the USA with a value over $2,500 USD.
TIBTemporary import bond
Goods entering the USA temporarily, intended for re-export to the country of origin. Some restrictions apply.
CF 4455Certificate of registration
A U.S. Customs document we prepare for items exported from the USA that are intended to return to the USA.
ITImmediate transit
Goods shipped under U.S. bond directly from the initial port of entry to a second U.S. Customs port. The carrier must hold a bond with U.S. Customs.
CF 3311U.S. goods returned
For products wholly manufactured in the United States that come back for repair or alteration, or are returned after use.
